Overnight Hiking Trip

We are excited to offer our first overnight hiking trip to the GG hiking group. Register now for our May 7th-9th trip to Brevard, NC.

Our trip will include a 2 night stay in Brevard with 3-4 area hikes planned for the group. Highlights of the trip will be hiking to Rainbow Falls in Gorges State Park and High Falls and Triple Falls in DuPont State Park. We will also visit Whitewater falls which is the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi, dropping 411 feet.  There will be options for a third day of hiking or the group may chose to sightsee, shop or just relax. All planned hikes will be rated easy to moderate and 3-5 miles as usual. There will be free time each day to explore downtown Brevard and visit outfitters stores and art galleries if interested. We plan to depart Mooresville early am of the 7th and return by 6 pm on the 9th.
